PEERS® of Katy: Young Adults Group (now enrolling families)

Looking for a supportive, engaging way for your young adult to build confidence, grow socially, and develop meaningful relationships?

We’re thrilled to offer the PEERS® Program for Young Adults in Katy, Texas—an evidence-based social skills program developed at UCLA. PEERS® (Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills) is designed for young adults with:
• Autism Spectrum Disorder
• ADHD
• Intellectual Disabilities
• Other social communication challenges

Participants receive clear, practical guidance for everyday social situations—like making friends, handling conflict, and communicating at school or work. What makes this program unique is the teamwork between participants and a parent, caregiver, or mentor, who attends a parallel session to reinforce learning through weekly “homework.”

PEERS® of Katy is a collaboration between The ARC of Katy and licensed psychologist, Dr. Lourdes Valdes, who is passionate about supporting neurodiverse individuals and their families.
